About Booksyte
Booksyte is a marketplace for live music in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, starting in Hyderabad. Hosts post a gig with the occasion, date, area, the performers they need and their budget. Singers, bands, DJs, anchors and traditional musicians who fit apply with their fee, and the host picks who plays.
Posting a gig and applying to one are free, and Booksyte takes no commission.
Who it's for
- Families booking music for a pelli, reception, sangeet or gruhapravesam: a singer, a DJ, sannai melam or band melam
- Cafes, pubs and restaurants booking live music nights
- Companies, colleges and festival committees booking for events, fests, Bonalu and Vinayaka Chavithi
- Singers, bands, DJs, anchors and traditional musicians looking for paid gigs
How it works
- The host posts the gig: the occasion, date and time, the area, the performers they need, their budget and how they will pay.
- Performers who fit apply with their fee and a short note.
- The host compares their profiles, demos, past shows and reviews, and chats with them before deciding.
- The host confirms who plays, and both get a booking pass with the details.
- The host pays the performer directly, on the terms set in the gig: after the gig, or a 25% or 50% advance with the rest after.
