Booksyte Account & Data Deletion
In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and global data protection laws (including the DPDP Act & GDPR), you have full control over your data. You can request the permanent deletion of your Booksyte account and associated personal data at any time.

We send a code to your number on WhatsApp to check it's yours. Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm.

Have the Booksyte App installed?
You can also delete your account inside the app:
- Open the Booksyte app and sign in.
- Tap your photo at the top right to open the menu.
- Scroll to the bottom of the menu.
- Tap "Delete account" and confirm.
What data is permanently deleted?
- • Profile & Identity: Full Name, Stage Name, Bio, City, Phone Number, and Avatar.
- • Photos & Portfolio: Profile avatar, stage and performance photos, venue images.
- • Gigs & Applications: Your open gigs are cancelled and your open applications withdrawn; your pitches and home venue addresses are removed.
- • Messages & Tokens: Direct chat histories, offer conversations, and push notification tokens.
- • What stays: Upcoming bookings are cancelled and the other person is told. Past bookings, disputes and reviews you were part of stay in the other person's history as "Deleted user", without your name or contact details.
What data is retained & legal basis?
Certain transactional records are retained solely where mandated by statutory law or for platform security:
- • Financial & Invoicing Records: Kept for statutory tax and financial compliance under applicable Indian legislation (retained up to statutory limit).
- • Fraud & Dispute Audit Logs: Kept in anonymized security vaults for up to 90 days to prevent repeat abuse or unresolved financial claims.
